Our Medical Directors dedicate over 90% of their time to practicing medicine, allowing them to stay fully engaged in patient care while leading the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys a diverse caseload, values collaboration, and is passionate about providing high-quality medicine in a supportive, team‑oriented environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical and surgical skills, with advanced soft tissue surgery experience preferred to help support emergency and urgent care cases such as splenectomies, gastrointestinal foreign body obstructions, pyometra, cystotomies, exploratory surgeries, laceration repairs, and other emergency procedures commonly seen in small animal practice. Experience mentoring veterinarians, fostering a positive hospital culture, and driving medical excellence is highly valued.Position OverviewThe Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine.
