Description:

Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance to assigned areas.Takes frequent readings on all gauges on all property equipment and refrigeration equipment and maintain logs.Checks all air handling units once per week and programming A/C schedules for all meeting rooms daily.Performs all maintenance including preventive maintenance.Responds to all emergency conditions.Assists General Maintenance on technical problems.Assists the manager in emergency situations.Performs preventive maintenance to all equipment and record history in log.Orders and receives materials related to area and maintain orderly inventory.Familiarizes self with and completes all paperwork associated with preventive maintenance program.Maintains good housekeeping practices in shop and work areas.Assists in other areas in repairs.Maintains knowledge of property information and memorabilia.Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to exercise initiative and a sense of urgency.Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.Keen attention to detail.Strong tactical skills.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests.Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.Education Preferred High School or better.Experience Preferred Maintain flexibility to handle changing priorities.Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.Ability to perform plumbing duties (i.e. run copper and PVC plumbing lines, operate snakes, etc.).Background in mechanical training from a recognized institution.Must be able to silver braze and soft solder.Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Five years' experience in mechanical.Universal EPA Certification.2nd Class Air Conditioning and Steam Boilers license preferred.Five years related experience.Equal Opportunity Employer.
