CHASER JOB DESCRIPTION GULFPORT

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Chaser. The primary responsibility of a Chaser is to track down and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment from clients or customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contact customers or clients with overdue accounts to arrange payment.
2. Monitor and track outstanding invoices.
3. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
4. Update account information and maintain accurate records.
5. Provide regular updates on outstanding accounts to management.
6. Work collaboratively with the sales and finance teams to resolve payment issues.
7. Follow up on promises of payment to ensure timely settlement.
8. Prepare and send out reminder letters or emails to encourage payment.
9. Escalate unresolved payment issues to management as needed.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
5. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
6. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and accounting software.
7. Customer service-oriented mindset.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
