SUMMARY OF POSITION

Howard Technology Solutions is a rapidly expanding technology solutions provider for the Healthcare, K-12, Higher Education, Government and Commercial markets. HTS is looking for a highly motivated Inside Sales Manager to join our team.


The Inside Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets by leading and managing our inside sales team. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, providing leadership and guidance to the team, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong background in inside sales and a passion for driving results.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the inside sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations.


Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.


Pipeline Management:

  • Oversee the inside sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on leads and opportunities.
  • Monitor sales metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.


Training and Development:

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the inside sales team.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to help team members achieve their full potential.


Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, including marketing and customer service, to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales team to coordinate efforts and achieve overall sales objectives.


Performance Management:

  • Monitor individual and team performance and implement corrective action plans as needed.
  • Recognize and reward top performers and implement strategies to address underperformance.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as an Inside Sales Manager or similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies that drive results.
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
