**THE POSITION**

This position will be a Dual Rate Supervisor/Writer. **This role is posted on behalf of IP Casino Resort Spa.**

**THE GAME PLAN**

Everyone on our team has a part to play

* Responsible for the successful operations of the Race and Sports book during assigned shift.

* Ensure that employees conduct all services and transactions according to Company policies and gaming regulations.

* Essential duties and tasks that must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Oversee shift operations of the Race & Sports book.

* Ensure that employees perform services and transactions in accordance with Company policies and gaming regulations.

* Approve/Deny wagers from customers in accordance with established guidelines.

* Verify writers/cashiers cash position, count and drop all monies.

* Ensure all paperwork is complete and accurate.

* Maintain written records and documents of shift transactions, gaming regulations, personnel actions, etc.

* Assist in preparation of work schedules, training, and coaching of employees.

* Handle guest comments and complaints in a timely manner in accordance with Company policies.

* Remain informed of all changes and updates of applicable gaming regulations.

* Approve winning payoffs over specified limits.

* Set channels for racing and sporting events.

**THE STATS**

What we're looking for in our next teammate

* Must be 21 years of age.

* Possess thorough knowledge of Race & Sports operations and wagering.

* Three (3) years minimum supervisory experience preferred.

* Ability to operate various Sports & Race computer software systems.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

* Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations
