The custodian is responsible for the cleanliness of all district buildings. The Custodian should have good knowledge of cleaning materials, chemicals, and formulas along with good housekeeping practices.

Reports to: Director of Maintenance and Building Principal

Pay: Non-Exempt

Days: 255

Qualifications:
HS diploma or equivalent
Essential Functions:

• Functional daily attendance
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods. Requires bending, stooping, reaching up and lifting up to 30 pounds and occasionally moving/lifting up to 50 pounds
• Duties will include, but are not limited to, dusting and cleaning furniture, daily trash removal, vacuuming, sweeping, stripping and waxing floors, clean and sanitize restrooms and maintaining office entrances areas (including windows). Police grounds and/or clean specific areas such as library and cafeteria (as assigned by Supervisor for regular scheduled cleaning or special events)
