Completes Slot BV drop collection and TG and Slot BV count procedures in accordance with State and Company procedures and regulations.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Collects slot bill validator (BV) drop in an efficient, timely manner IAW company and state regulations.
Counts and records Table Game drop on Master Gaming Report. Transfers paperwork to Accounting.
Counts and records funds and tickets from BV Drop and inputs/records on daily Soft Count Report.
Transfers TG drop funds and Slot BV drop funds to casino cage in an efficient and timely manner.
Maintains soft count area in a neat, organized and professional manner.
Displays courteous and professional image to associated departments and guests.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
High School diploma general education (GED) required; previous casino count experience preferred.
Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
Must possess basic computer skills. Must have knowledge of internet software; spreadsheet software and Word Processing Software.
Must know and comply with requirements of State and Company internal controls and regulations.
A Mississippi Gaming Commission work permit is required for this position.
Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people. Interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with operating departments.
Must be very detailed oriented.
Must project a professional and positive image.
Must have a high level of energy
Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.
Ability to understand and promulgate written memos, instructions, regulations.
Training
