The pay rate for this job is $15 - $15 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Recipe Cook:
- Prepare food for service (e. g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food - Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Help oversee prep cook's duties and tasks
Shift timings - All Available
Job requirements:
- Participate in the teardown and set up of the Kitchen
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Strong knife skills are essential
- Ability to handle and prepare a variety of raw and cooked foods
- Potential for heavy lifting, may work on one's feet for up to 10 hours, work in loud environment
- Background Check and Drug Test Required
