Overview:
The Accounting Clerk assists and performs duties and assignments in the areas of General Accounting: General Ledger and Accounts Payable.
Responsibilities:
Prepare/Send invoices within a timely manner after customers departure.
Post advance deposits.
Prepare journal entry for hotel account receivables activity.
Cover/Assist Accounts Payable Coordinator with tasks and responsibilities for accounts payable.
Address/Research credit card disputes and inquiries.
Assist Staff Accountant with tasks and responsibilities for general accounting.
Ensure the safety and security of employees and customer financial information.
Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines and handle multiple simultaneous tasks.
Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Display strong work ethic and teamwork.
Ability to operate 10-key calculator.
High school diploma or GED equivalent and one year experience in accounting.
Valid gaming permit by the state.
Posted Salary Range: USD $14.50 - USD $16.50 /Hr.
