Position Summary...

Develops, communicates, and leverages a strategic vision aligned with company, market, and local plans and tactics to direct the management team and associates in facility operations, merchandising, and company direction. Provides supervision and development opportunities for management and hourly associates in a facility facing issues such as high turnover, engagement challenges, inexperienced staff, and recruiting difficulties in a competitive market. Responsibilities include ongoing recruitment, hiring, training, mentoring, succession planning, performance evaluation, recognition, and fostering a sense of belonging across organizational levels. Upholds the company's Open Door Policy by engaging with associates, addressing concerns, researching issues, and ensuring responsiveness and resolution. Ensures compliance with policies, develops relationships with officials, monitors asset protection, safety, and quality standards, and oversees operational reviews and strategic initiatives. Participates in community outreach, representing the company and fostering external relationships, while promoting the facility's role within the community. Drives financial performance by achieving sales and profit goals, managing expenses, and analyzing economic trends. Ensures customer service excellence and maintains store standards, including training environments like the Academy. Develops and implements strategies for workforce attraction and retention, cultivating an environment of respect and integrity, and building high-performing teams. Develops partnerships and networks to support business goals and community initiatives, fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging. Acts with integrity, prioritizes customer service, seeks continuous improvement, and supports technological and process innovations.
