Overview

The Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the successful operation of the bars. Accountable for directing the work of cocktail, bartending and bar back staff, assuring that guests have a favorable gaming experience.

Responsibilities

1. Assists with the development and managing of the budget for the beverage department.
2. Ensure the safety and security of employees and customers. Supervises programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
3. Reviews staffing levels to maintain budgeted levels of employment. Delegates authority and assigns responsibilities.
4. Development of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluates.
5. Manages department financial data.
6. Reviews beverage activities and promotions with Beverage Manager.
7. Monitors and adjusts performance to local competition.
8. Meets with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Two to five years' experience in bar operations and managing personnel with a 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
2. Alcohol Beverage Control card and any applicable health certifications.
3. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required.
4. Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable experience.
5. Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
6. Must present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
7. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
8. Display strong work ethic and teamwork.

Pay Range

USD $15.00 - USD $16.00 /Hr.
