Role: Food Service Director / Dining Services Director / Dining Services Manager / Dining Account Manager / Dining Services Department Manager

Pay Rate: $48,000 - $50,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the food service program at a single site, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
  • Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles of dietary aide, cook, and dishwasher as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with client managers, building occupants, and administrators.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed, including proper use of protective gear and reporting equipment needs.
  • Maintain sanitation standards through infection control and universal precautions.
  • Ensure punctuality and timely completion of tasks.
  • Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with all stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in food service management or hospitality, preferred.
  • Two years of experience in food production/service and supervision, preferred.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred.
  • Must obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within 14 days of employment.
  • Must obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and LTC-FSM certifications within 60 days.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and effective communication skills.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 50 pounds, and perform extended standing, sitting, and walking.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Residency within the service area required.
