Job Details

We are seeking a Workday Consultant to support a client with their HR systems administration and optimization. This position requires expertise in Workday and the ability to maintain system accuracy, generate reports, support end users, and develop integrated solutions that improve business processes.

This role is remote, with onsite visits once a quarter, and will last 2 months with possible month-to-month extension based on project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into Workday configurations and workflows.
• Design and automate business processes and eligibility rules across Workday modules.
• Configure Workday modules based on client or organizational needs.
• Build system logic and configurations to support custom HR policies (e.g., referral programs, leave management, buyback programs).
• Manage integrations with third-party platforms such as Outlook and DocuSign.
• Support cross-functional initiatives across Payroll, HCM, Recruiting, and Benefits.
• Lead or participate in Workday implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Perform data conversion, integration, and validation activities.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
• Train end-users and provide post-implementation support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Workday system issues.
• Stay current on Workday releases and new features and assess their impact on the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, finance, information systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday configuration and support.
• Proficiency in one or more Workday modules, such as HCM, Learning, Payroll, or Recruiting.
• Track record of leading system implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Workday certifications in applicable modules.
• Familiarity with Workday Studio, EIBs, or Report Writer tools.
• Consulting experience or background in a client-facing role.

Compensation:

• $40-45 per hour
