Position Overview:
The UX/UI Designer will be responsible for designing the user interface and experience for our AI therapist platform. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and psychologists to create a user-centric design that is not only visually appealing but also enhances the effectiveness of the therapeutic experience. This role requires a deep understanding of design principles, user behavior, and a passion for creating solutions that positively impact mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accessibility: Ensure that the platform is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, by adhering to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and best practices.
  • Visual Design: Apply strong visual design skills to create a cohesive and visually compelling brand experience across all user touchpoints.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies, and continuously seek opportunities to improve the user experience on the platform.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in the tech or healthcare sectors. Experience with AI-driven products or mental health platforms is a plus.
  • Design Tools Proficiency: Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, InVision, or similar. Experience with prototyping tools like Axure or Marvel is beneficial.
  • User-Centered Design: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and a demonstrated ability to design with empathy for the user's needs and behaviors.
  • Research Skills: Experience conducting user research and usability testing, with the ability to translate research findings into actionable design solutions.
  • Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and articulate design decisions to non-designers.
  • Visual Design Skills: Strong visual design skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating beautiful, cohesive user interfaces.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about design challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in UX/UI design are a plus.
