Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and common areas are clean, orderly, and welcoming. The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a positive guest experience through high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms daily, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing bathrooms
- Replenish towels, toiletries, and other amenities according to hotel standards
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and other public areas
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to management promptly
- Handle guest requests or concerns in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ensure carts, storage rooms, and supplies are organized and stocked
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping and front desk teams to meet guest expectations
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience highly preferred but not required
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
