What You'll Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) is preferred.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field, with a strong focus on ESG and sustainability.

  • Proven success in developing and implementing supplier risk management strategies within a global organization.

  • Experience working in a consulting environment or with a professional services firm is highly desirable.

  • A comprehensive understanding of ESG principles, standards, and regulations, particularly as they apply to supply chain management.

  • Exceptional data analysis skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Excellent written communication skills, as documentation of work performed is a key deliverable within the ESG program.

Who You'll Work With

As the EP&P Senior Analyst, ESG Supplier Risk, you will be part of BCG's Procurement function, directly reporting to the ESG Supplier Risk Director. You will collaborate closely with the ESG Supplier Risk Senior Manager, the Data Analytics team, and other procurement staff to ensure seamless integration with BCG's procurement strategies. Additionally, you will work with compliance, legal, and sustainability teams to ensure a comprehensive ESG risk management approach, and partner with teams across global locations to meet local regulatory requirements.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • Data Analysis and Supplier Categorisation:
    Conduct detailed analyses of spend data to identify and categorize suppliers for the ESG program. You will be comfortable working with large datasets, identifying trends, and extracting insights that support BCG's ESG objectives.

  • Supplier Risk Assessment Reviews:
    Assist the ESG Supplier Risk Senior Manager in managing the full risk assessment process, including collaborating with supplier relationship owners (SROs) at BCG to perform due diligence on the supply chain. Support efforts to ensure suppliers complete ESG self-assessments and help prioritize risks based on assessments.

  • Project Assistance and Documentation:
    Support project management efforts, including documentation, coordination, and execution of change management strategies. Clear documentation and communication of activities will be essential, particularly in fulfilling legal ESG obligations.

  • Process Optimization:
    Support continuous improvement and process optimization efforts as ESG due diligence scales across BCG's global supply chain. Identify improvement opportunities and help develop training materials for enhanced processes.

  • Technology Integration:
    Assist in streamlining and integrating BCG's technology systems, ensuring effective ESG due diligence processes. Participate in system testing, provide user training, and support the integration of new technology.

  • Reporting:
    Assist in drafting responses to fulfill regulatory reporting requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to finalize submissions. Support the creation of reports to track remediation progress and annual regulatory compliance, communicating updates to the ESG Supplier Risk team.
