We at Superior are passionate about our business and have instilled a work ethic in our employees that ensures a clean and productive lab, a focus on quality and accuracy, and an obsession with customer service that is unmatched in the industry.Superior Optical is looking for shipping team members who are responsible for preparing, packaging, and shipping orders and placing orders in the delivery area for pickup. Maintain excellent service by following Superior standards of quality. Shipping team members must have keen attention to details, be organized and can work in a fast paced environment.The following are the primary tasks:* Filling all customer orders with accuracy and timeliness.* Prepare boxes for shipment by packing boxes with fillers, spacers and protective padding and securing boxes..* Preparing and printing shipping labels corresponding to shipping requirements* Verify customer information is correct from order and shipping label* Ship boxes in a timely basis per policyShift information:Monday through Friday 7:00a - 3:30p(some Saturdays shifts are required)Requirements* Shipping experience is preferred* Experienced in DVI software systems preferred but not required* Optical experience (Preferred but not required)* Ability to speak and read English* Reliable transportation to and from work* High school Diploma or equivalent.* Detail oriented* Good hand-eye coordination* Must be 18 years of agePhysical Requirements:* Reaching above or below the shoulder* Lifting up to 25lbs.* Sitting for long periods of time* Repetitive hand and arm movements* Ability to distinguish colorsVeterans encouraged to apply!Drug Screen and Background Check requiredNo phone calls please!
