Job Details

Performs cleaning and trash removal functions, as well as carpet and hard surface maintenance, in all hospital areas on a routine and project basis. Will maintain equipment in clean, working condition, demonstrate knowledge of proper use of chemicals and other supplies. Will be responsible for moving furniture and equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers/shampooers, housekeeping carts, etc., and will be exposed to various chemicals. Demonstrates knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with patients, families, and visitors of all ages while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs.
