The Science Communications and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for promoting the Gulf Coast Research Laboratorys research and education initiatives by crafting compelling, accurate press releases, developing strategic content across digital platforms, managing multiple social media channels, and coordinating outreach and engagement events. This role bridges the gap between researchers and the public, enhancing the visibility and impact of the institution's scientific contributions. Primary Duties and Responsibilities. Science Writing & Content Creation: Translate complex research into accessible press releases, articles, and web content; interview faculty, staff and students to capture stories; ensure scientific accuracy and brand consistency.
