A prominent defense firm seeks an Associate Attorney for their expanding federal Workers' Compensation Defense practice. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that offers growth and a flexible work culture with fully remote/hybrid options. This role can be based in NYC or Newark NJ office locations.

Ideal candidate will have 1- 3 years of litigation experience either Plaintiffs' or Defense side. Prior experience taking or assisting with depositions, court appearances, discovery, trial prep, analyzing medical records desired. Insurance defense or related industry experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities:

• File review and legal analysis of workers compensation claims
• Regularly represent clients at depositions and hearings
• Manage cases from start to finish

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in any State
• 1-3 years' experience

Salary range up to 130k+ Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits Package
