Job Summary:

The Oracle ASCP Functional Consultant is responsible for leading the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) modules within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand supply chain planning needs and translating them into effective Oracle ASCP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead functional design and configuration of Oracle ASCP modules.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze supply chain planning requirements.
  • Develop functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for customizations and integrations.
  • Support ASCP planning cycles, troubleshoot issues, and optimize planning parameters.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide end-user training and create documentation.
  • Participate in testing activities including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure solutions align with Oracle best practices and compliance standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ASCP in EBS R12.2.4 or newer.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes: MRP, DRP, S&OP, forecasting.
  • Experience with Oracle modules: Inventory, BOM, WIP, Purchasing, Order Management.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to write and interpret functional specifications.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional and global teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle certifications in Supply Chain or ASCP.
  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with integration tools and middleware (e.g., Oracle SOA, ODI).
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
