The dishwasherposition is an integral role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency within afood service establishment, such as restaurants, cafeterias, or cateringcompanies. The primary responsibility of a dishwasher is to ensure that alldishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meethealth and safety standards. This role requires diligence, attention to detail,and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

A Walk On'sdishwasher must be friendly, outgoing, and possess good communication skills. Wewant someone who is organized and able to think and act quickly/effectively andretains self-composure. A dishwasher must take pride in and be dedicated to theirjob. You must display integrity and honesty in all aspects of employment.

Required Duties andResponsibilities:
• Able to communicate the primary language of thework location.
• Able to be stationary for long periods of timeand move from area in the kitchen.
• Able to exert fast-paced mobility for periods upto 8 hours in length.
• Have the ability to bend, stoop, lift, carrydish racks, pots, pans, bus tubs etc. up to 50 lbs. in weight on a regular andcontinuous basis.
• Must be able to be subject to wet floors,extreme temperatures, and loud noise.
• Sets up and breaks down dish machine.
• Checks machine to be sure it is operatingcorrectly and reports any defects immediately.
• Knows and implements preventive maintenanceprocedures.
• Washes and correctly stores all dishes.
• Presoaks, pots, pans and silverware according toCompany procedures.
• Checks water temperature during dishwashing toensure sanitary practice.
• Removes trash from dish room and places indumpsters.
• Cleans and sanitizes garbage cans and keepsliners in cans at all times.
• Cleans and keeps dish room neat includingdetergent stage area, strives to keep floor dry
• Mops floors.
• Works as a team with all personnel.
• Follows all HACCP guidelines for heating andcooling of food products.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by amanager.

RequiredSkills/Abilities:
• Understanding of safety hazards and proper useof various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Detail-oriented and thorough.
• Ability to keep the property clean and orderly.
• Good interpersonal skills with polite andcourteous demeanor toward staff, customers, clients, and visitors to theproperty.

Educationand Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

PhysicalRequirements:
• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach,and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
