Overview

Multi-Line Property Damage Adjuster - Southeast (Memphis, TN, Baton Rouge, LA, Shreveport, LA, New Orleans, LA, Biloxi, MS, Jackson, MS, Little Rock, AR). We are looking for a highly motivated and service-oriented individual to join our Multi-line Damage team as a Multi-line Property Damage Adjuster. As an ambassador for GEICO's renowned customer service, you will work in a dynamic environment that may include repair shops, salvage yards, a customer's home or in a virtual estimating environment. You will be responsible for inspecting damage, estimating cost of repairs, negotiating settlements, issuing payments, and providing excellent customer service. This position primarily will include servicing boat, motorcycle, RV and other specialty claims.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect damage, estimate cost of repairs, negotiate settlements, issue payments, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Service boat, motorcycle, RV and other specialty claims; perform in-person or virtual inspections as required.
  • Operate in environments such as field visits, customer homes, repair shops or salvage yards.
Qualifications
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a drivers license, certifications and permits in accordance with state and federal regulations, and company and departmental standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry materials, equipment, etc. and lift them to and from vehicles and carry them up and down steps.
  • Must be able to climb on, off, in, around and under RVs, motorcycles, boats and other autos or commercial equipment.
  • Must be able to exercise caution and awareness of surroundings while performing the essential duties of the position.
  • Must be able to answer questions and communicate with coworkers, customers and others in person, via mail, email, text, telephone and cellphone.
  • Must be able to document files in a clear, concise, professional written manner, to be understood by customers, clients, co-workers and other employees of the organization.
  • Must be able to maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
  • Must speak with internal and external customers in a way that builds GEICOs customer base and promotes customer satisfaction through efficient, accurate, and courteous interactions.
  • Must be able to speak in a clear, empathic and professional manner by telephone or in person.
  • Must be able to handle heavy claim volume and stressful situations.
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amount of technical and procedural information.
Working Conditions and Equipment
  • Must utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Must be willing to work in indoor and outdoor environments, inclement weather, in dim or bright light and subject to adverse weather conditions and noise.
  • The duties of this position are performed both in the field and virtually. This position will require in person and virtual inspections with minimum supervision.
  • Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record according to company policy and a valid state driver's license; must be able to drive the assigned vehicle for extended periods of time as needed.
  • Must be able to utilize laptops, Microsoft Office, web-based applications, cameras, hands free cellular devices, and calculators; must be able to perform duties in an automobile used as a mobile workstation.
