Job Details

The Environmental Services OR Aide maintains environmental and infection control standards within the established policies and procedures of the Health System for the Operating Room and Labor & Delivery. He/ She performs a variety of general cleaning and linen tasks within the Operating / Labor & Delivery Room to maintain the rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas. The Aide performs Terminal Cleaning on each operating room when assigned. The Environmental Services Aide, when assigned, also performs tasks outside the Operating / Labor & Delivery Room such as patient room cleaning. He/ She restocks linen carts and assembles linen packs for Surgical Services and Outpatient Surgery.
