What You'll Do
  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products using precision tools and metrology equipment.
  • Verify parts against technical drawings and specifications for mechanical, optical, and cosmetic standards.
  • Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming products or defects.
  • Support production teams by providing feedback that drives improvement and efficiency.
  • Conduct first article and environmental testing as required.
  • Keep inspection records and shipping documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and a safe, organized workspace.
  • Collaborate across teams to uphold and continuously improve quality standards.
What You Bring
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
  • Comfortable working with measurement tools (micrometers, interferometers, autocollimators, etc.).
  • A methodical, organized approach to work and problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills—you can clearly explain findings and provide constructive feedback.
  • Previous quality inspection or production experience is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right person.

Physical & Work Environment
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. independently (and up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
  • Work may require standing, sitting, and fine manual tasks.
  • Low-lighting environments and occasional use of solvents and adhesives.
  • Minimal noise levels, safe and clean workspace.
