What You'll Do
Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products using precision tools and metrology equipment.
Verify parts against technical drawings and specifications for mechanical, optical, and cosmetic standards.
Identify, document, and communicate non-conforming products or defects.
Support production teams by providing feedback that drives improvement and efficiency.
Conduct first article and environmental testing as required.
Keep inspection records and shipping documentation accurate and up to date.
Maintain equipment, tools, and a safe, organized workspace.
Collaborate across teams to uphold and continuously improve quality standards.
What You Bring
A high school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus).
Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
Comfortable working with measurement tools (micrometers, interferometers, autocollimators, etc.).
A methodical, organized approach to work and problem-solving.
Strong communication skills—you can clearly explain findings and provide constructive feedback.
Previous quality inspection or production experience is preferred but not required—we're willing to train the right person.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. independently (and up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
Work may require standing, sitting, and fine manual tasks.
