Overview

We are seeking Senior Network Engineer to join our team for a multi-stage network transformation initiative. In Stage 1, you will play a hands-on role in network deployments, service configurations, and validation processes. You ll be working closely with automation and infrastructure tools, as well as participating in documentation and process optimization to set the foundation for future automation efforts in Stage 2. This role requires a combination of strong technical networking expertise and practical automation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and support network deployments and service configurations.
• Validate network services and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Execute and modify existing Python and Ansible scripts to support automation needs.
• Maintain and update network inventory using NetBox, including IP address management (IPAM).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document processes, tools, and configurations.
• Provide input for optimization and automation opportunities for Stage 2 of the project.
• Support backlog clearance and live network process improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in network engineering, particularly in deployments, configurations, and validations.
• Proficiency with Python and Ansible for scripting and automation.
• Experience using NetBox for inventory and IPAM tasks.
• Ability to document technical procedures and recommend process improvements.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale networking projects.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation and platform engineering.
• similar enterprise network transformation projects.

Project Phases

• Stage 1 Active participation in current network operations, clearing backlog, and documenting tools and processes.
• Stage 2 Support in designing and building the next phase of platform connections and automation based on insights from Stage 1.
