First Citizens Bank is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Product Owner to help drive the continued evolution of our digital channelsincluding web, mobile, and other client-facing platformswith a strong focus on developing a corporate client portal. This portal is a critical platform for delivering secure, streamlined, and value-added services to our business clients. The role involves executing the digital roadmap set by product leadership and ensuring the portal evolves in line with client needs, regulatory standards, and business goals.

As a senior member of the digital product team, you will translate strategic objectives into actionable requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver digital experiences that boost client engagement, satisfaction, and long-term value. You will work closely with business stakeholders, support teams, and operations to maintain the portal as a trusted platform for clients.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for the digital platform by collaborating with stakeholders across departments.
• Define and refine user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Work with UX/UI designers and developers to translate business needs into user-friendly applications.
• Identify gaps, pain points, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure requirements are feasible and aligned with technical capabilities.
• Support UAT and deployment by validating requirements and addressing gaps.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
• Maintain and update business requirement documents as the platform evolves.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 6 years of experience in analytics, modeling, or reporting OR High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Treasury Management applications (ACH, wires, reporting) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of systems applications.
• Experience building system portals.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to support production teams during go-live.

This posting remains active for 45 days from the initial date. The salary range is approximately $101,000 to $135,000, with actual compensation based on skills, experience, and location. Benefits are included as part of the total rewards package.
