Job Description/Overview: This position will serve as Chief of Police for the Poplarville Campus. Duties will include, but are not limited to: performing law enforcement functions to include enforcing state, local, and federal laws and PRCC rules and regulations; responding to emergency calls involving crimes, disturbances, accidents, personal injuries, etc.; investigating and writing reports of violation of law, PRCC rules and regulations, accidents, complaints, etc.; and interacting with students, faculty and staff involving safety and other related issues. The Police Chief will work closely with the Director of Public Safety in assuring all safety policies and procedures are followed in order to make PRCC's campus a healthy and safe environment throughout the year.
