Purpose and Responsibilities

The Senior SoftwareEngineer researches , designs, and develops software features for hosted systems and is primarily centered around mid-tier business logic and back-end data management in a .NET and MS SQL Server stack. He/she /they will work with an established team of .NET and front-end developers to enhance our existing platform,createnew platforms,and help drive continued development.TheEngineerwill see opportunities to work with cross-functional and cross-geographic team members.

This role reports to the AVP of Software Engineering and has no direct reports.

Critical Job Duties:

Develop creative, functional, maintainable, applications , services and components

Write high quality, re-usable code following industry best practices

Perform design/code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance, and application responsiveness

Possess the ability to move between backend and frontend components as needed by the business

Test programs to ensure quality and expected results before delivery to Quality Engineering

I nvestigate and resolve bugs and/or deficiencies in project codebases

Work on projects of moderate to advanced complexity

Keep skills up-to-date with current and future software technologies through continued education and self-learning to ensure maximum functionality and efficiency

Assist in creation and maintenance of DevOps tooling and code deployments.

Collaborate both in the team and cross-functionally, and contribute in group decision-making

Assists & mentor associate and mid-tier engineers

Job Qualifications:

Qualifications

Experience and demonstrated proficiency in .Net, C#, LINQ, Entity Framework, and Microsoft SQL server

Experience and demonstrated proficiency with Angular, Ionic, NGRX, and hybrid UI development

Demonstrated understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Databases (SQL / NoSQL)

Experience with RESTful Web Service Design

Experience in developing applications for both iOS & Android

Experience working as a member of an Agile team

Experience working with 3 rd party partners to design and deliver cross-platform integrations

Bachelors degree in Computer Science , Computer Engineering or a software related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred

The ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving skills

Experience with MS Azure and AZDO preferred
