The position (faculty member) requires individuals to have a desire to teach students to become entry-level nurses who possess a bachelors degree in nursing. The faculty members role includes an understanding of the inner functions of a nursing program as they relate to curricula, practice arenas, evaluations, and outcomes. Faculty members facilitate students achievement of course objectives and prepare students to master skill sets that enable progression throughout the nursing program of study. Faculty members work closely with the course, clinical, and program coordinators to ensure the standards and quality of the nursing curricula are met and maintained. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Develop and teach courses assigned. Adhere to class and clinical schedules. Develop and maintain syllabi, lesson plans, calendars, etc. for each course taught.
