Client Support Administrator (Information Technologist II)

A3T is looking to bring on an Information Technologist II with "Next-Level Thinking" who is ready to take their career to a new level with A3T and support our customer.

Job Duties:

  1. Perform Helpdesk Service Desk Operations; triage incident tickets issued according to their assigned area(s) of responsibility utilizing the Remedy Work Ordering system.
  2. Respond/acknowledge and resolve service tickets within established timeframes from receipt of the incident/call for touch labor support.
  3. Provide network registration of client equipment into the current installation software/asset management application.
  4. Establish, maintain, delete, and troubleshoot Active Directory client accounts/client systems.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve user/client standard application/configuration problems via telephone assistance, remote control, and at user locations.
  6. Maintain local standard operating system and client application software to current Army configuration, including service packs, patches, security fixes, and virus definitions.
  7. Perform troubleshooting to resolve desktop baseline application and email problems.
  8. Coordinate system image configuration changes with the SCCM Image Team.
  9. Provide guidance to desktop services technicians, assigned users, and peers.
  10. Install, configure, and maintain desktop applications.
  11. Configure Standard Army application systems.
  12. Install, configure, and maintain desktop COTS and GOTS client applications.
  13. Perform hardware repairs on Dell and HP computer systems.
  14. Assist System Administrators with testing local client applications and security patches.
  15. Create and update documentation for technical processes.
  16. Assist in preparing technical documentation and configuration change requests.
  17. Communicate effectively in response to support requests, technical questions, or meetings, to technical and non-technical users at all levels.

Qualifications:

  • Active Secret clearance (US Citizen required)
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field, or six years relevant experience
  • CompTIA Security+ and DoDD 8570.01-M certification; appropriate CE certification for supported OS and security tools
  • Minimum 2 years client support experience and 6+ years deploying systems in a Windows environment
  • 3+ years experience supporting Windows 7/8/10, Windows Server 2003/2008, MS Exchange, and related technologies
  • Knowledge of SAN, NAS, Clustering, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
  • Understanding of Windows architecture, installation, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with software deployment in Active Directory environments
  • Experience with backup software like Symantec Backup Exec or NetBackup
