Skills Required

• Knowledge and Experience:
• Experience with different aspects of analysis and advanced analytics techniques (e.g. Descriptive, predictive, optimization)
• Comfort manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data preferably in Hadoop/Spark
• Proven experience in SQL & databases like Teradata/Oracle/MySQL
• Very good experience and good knowledge of Machine Learning techniques and how they are applied to real life applications
• Proven experience in one or more statistical tools like Python, R, SAS EM, MATLAB, SPSS, Teradata Warehouse Miner etc.
• Professional or academic knowledge with Data Science, Applied Maths or Statistics.
• MS/Ph.D. or Bachelor Degree in computer science and/or engineering or equivalent with 3-5+ years of relevant experience
• Working in international, distributed teams
• Should have good analytical & troubleshooting skills
• Should have good verbal and written communication skills
• System analysis skills for IT troubleshooting
• Conscientiousness and high accuracy in work
• Understands business requirements
• Flexible attitude and can do attitude
• Drives improvements and process innovation
• Familiar with cognitive technologies
• Comfortable running validation sessions/workshops with stakeholders
• Hands on experience in working within agile development environment preferably as part of multi-locations and/or virtual teams
• ITIL awareness
• Ability to communicate complex findings and ideas in plain language
• Strong communication skills
• Very good in interdepartmental coordination
