About the Agency
The North Mississippi Regional Center in Oxford has provided comprehensive services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1973. The Center is licensed by the Mississippi Department of Health as an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (ICF/IID) and is certified for Medicaid participation. The North Mississippi Regional Center serves the northern 32 counties of Mississippi, with main campus in Oxford and additional ICF/IID community homes across north Mississippi. NMRC also assists over 1,000 people through other community services and supports, including the ID/DD Waiver and Community Support Program. Additional NMRC programs include CEPS and the Technology Assistive Device (TAD) Center. The Diagnostic Services Department provides assessments for determining eligibility for NMRC programs. Second-level professional position accountable for performing a wide range of security procedures and processes necessary to ensure the safety of information systems and assets and protect systems and data from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Ensures that users understand and adhere to the necessary procedures and processes to maintain security. Conducts audits for regulatory and standards compliance. Provides input into the development of security policies. Prepares disaster recovery plans. Designs and delivers security compliance training. Conducts IT data and security forensic investigations. Requires knowledge of domain structures, user authentication and digital signatures. Requires in depth knowledge of intrusion detection and internet architecture. Provides advice to management on balance between business needs and data security. Provides moderately complex technical support in relevant field of discipline. May serve as project lead and provides technical direction to lower level team members.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, technical expertise in areas like networking and operating systems, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and 2-5+ years of IT experience with emphasis in security and compliance.
