Job Details

Performs patient examinations and related activities; performs patient exams in accordance with established protocols, demonstrates knowledge of digital environment; reviews images prior to archiving to PACS and for submission to radiologists for interpretation, maintains patient records; assures the correct patient is being imaged in accordance to hospital protocol of checking at least two patient identifiers prior to completing examination, and patient s clinical history is complete; completes associated paperwork, performs QA/ QC on equipment, as needed. Stocks exam rooms with basic supplies, starts I - Vs and/or administers contrast, as needed, maintains and adheres to accepted sterile techniques, and provides a clean environment within the examination area. Provide student technologists with the basic procedural concepts within responsible modality. Share emergency call, as required. Demonstrates appropriate computer skills.
