Overview

Bollinger is seeking a dedicated Quality System Administrator to oversee the development, management, and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System, including ensuring compliance and maintenance of ISO 9001 certification.

Responsibilities

• Support quality system management in compliance with established standards.
• Assist in conducting risk analyses, solving quality-related issues, and implementing process improvement projects.
• Coordinate and conduct internal quality system audits across various company locations.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for audits conducted by external agencies or certifying bodies.
• Promote and apply continuous improvement methodologies throughout the organization.
• Deliver training on quality concepts and the application of the quality management system.
• Perform technical writing duties, including drafting internal documentation and reports.
• Manage and maintain technical and controlled documents within the organization.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating adaptability, precision, and a commitment to achieving organizational and project goals.
• Untake additional duties as assigned or requested by management.

Experience

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in Quality Management Systems, preferably within shipbuilding, manufacturing, or a similar industrial setting, with a bachelor's degree required. Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred OR six (6) years of experience in Quality Management, preferably within shipbuilding, manufacturing, or a similar industrial setting with an associate's degree required. Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to various company locations in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Skills And Abilities

• Thorough understanding of quality assurance principles, practices, procedures, and ISO 9001 standards.
• Strong facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
