For more information, please visit us at Position Summary:Financial Counselor will meet with all patients admitted into the facility, concerning financial out of pocket and deductibles due at the time of admissions, along with the ability to verify patient hospital benefits with all insurance companies, and collect all copays/deductibles from patients face to face at the time of admission. Completes financial assistance applications with supporting financial data, establishes monthly payment plans on accounts, and reviews monthly charity applications with CFO. Maintains notes in hospital system, ongoing communication and provide updates with the billing department and social workers concerning patient's hospital accounts.
