Overview

An Account Manager supports the account team in managing the day-to-day activity of the account, including managing client deadlines, maintaining the integrity of the clients budget and developing the account. You should be proactive, able to multi-task, foster a positive team atmosphere, and demonstrate leadership.

You are a jack-of-all-trades who keeps the client happy, senses their needs, and finds opportunities. You also collaborate with different agency departments to execute work. This isnt your first rodeo; you enjoy wearing many hats.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day client contact and contribute to the development of the account
  • Own project briefs and manage large-scale, high-volume campaign projects
  • Demonstrate passion for the client brand and awareness of the clients products/services, competitors, and target audience
  • Analyze client data and create an action plan for the agency
  • Lead internal meetings (status meetings, kick-offs, etc.) and guide projects to execution
  • Create timelines and ensure milestones are met
  • Provide client feedback quickly and clearly
  • Participate in client billing and oversee account budgets and administration
  • Seek new business opportunities

Required Experience

  • 2-4 years agency or comparable experience
  • Experience working directly with the client
  • Proven ability to manage a relationship between the client and agency
  • Experience managing high-volume creative production projects (print, email, banners, flyers, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Drive, Sheets, Slides)
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and collaborate
  • Four years of college experience and 2+ years in a marketing/advertising environment (preferred in related fields)

Salary: $45,000 - $48,000
