Position: Munitions Response and Recovered Chemical Warfare Materiel Operations Consultant

Your impact

In this role you will support our business development team to position for munitions response and RCWM work by developing technical approaches and strategies using your industry knowledge, relationships, and understanding of the market and clients. You will grow your career by engaging with key clients, increasing our competitiveness and market share, and mentoring junior technical experts and project managers delivering the work. You will contribute to the development of corporate wide policies and procedures and implement these in sales and operations. You will collaborate on strategies for the execution of the Scope of Work in Stand-alone Contracts and Task Orders, develop proposal responses including technical approaches and pricing, and assign key personnel. You may be asked to manage more complex munitions response and RCWM projects. By shaping strategy across Munitions Response projects, you will help the team understand clients goals and apply state of the art investigative techniques and remediation technologies while pursuing growth in this market.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, geology or related technical field
  • Experience in Munitions Response and RCWM investigation and remediation with emphasis on bidding and winning firm fixed price projects, field operations and project management
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in RCWM including investigations and remedial actions, regulations and requirements, operations and safety, munitions related hazards, detection and monitoring technologies, disposal and neutralization technologies, decontamination procedures, and preparation of work plans and safety plans
  • Quality control, quality assurance, and USACE requirements and specifications; familiarity with Stand-alone contracts and task orders
  • 5+ years of experience bidding and managing munitions response and RCWM projects

Additional Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience bidding and delivering projects that include decontamination and demolition of facilities contaminated with explosives, CWM, or biological contaminants is a strong plus
  • Professional Engineer PE, Professional Geologist PG license or Project Management Professional PMP
  • Experience working with USACE Military Munitions Design Centers and Districts
  • Experience with US Army Engineering and Support Center Huntsville CWMDC or related centers
  • Experience in cost estimating munitions response and RCWM projects
  • RCWM specialized training and certifications

This position is open to any U.S. location

Salary

Base pay range: $102,800.00/yr - $151,000.00/yr

This position will be open for at least 3 days.
