Quality System Administrator

This opportunity is for a Quality System Administrator with a work location in Gulfport, MS. Bollinger is seeking a dedicated Quality System Administrator to oversee the development, management, and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System, including ensuring compliance and maintenance of ISO 9001 certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support quality system management in compliance with established standards.
  • Assist in conducting risk analyses, solving quality-related issues, and implementing process improvement projects.
  • Coordinate and conduct internal quality system audits across various company locations.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for audits conducted by external agencies or certifying bodies.
  • Promote and apply continuous improvement methodologies throughout the organization.
  • Deliver training on quality concepts and the application of the quality management system.
  • Perform technical writing duties, including drafting internal documentation and reports.
  • Manage and maintain technical and controlled documents within the organization.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating adaptability, precision, and a commitment to achieving organizational and project goals.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned or requested by management.

Experience:

Minimum three (3) years of experience in Quality Management Systems, preferably within shipbuilding, manufacturing, or a similar industrial setting, with a bachelor's degree required. Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred OR six (6) years of experience in Quality Management, preferably within shipbuilding, manufacturing, or a similar industrial setting with an associate's degree required. Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred. Ability and willingness to travel regularly to various company locations in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Skills and Abilities:

Thorough understanding of quality assurance principles, practices, procedures, and ISO 9001 standards. Strong facilitation, verbal, and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
