We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:****Strategic Planning & Productization*** Define and map Aligned's AI product offerings.* Create and maintain scenario models (cost/schedule/risk) to select optimal paths by market, product, and vendor mix.* Standardize “repeatable builds” (skids/modules/assemblies), bills of materials, and scope boundaries so multiple vendors can execute interchangeably; partner with stakeholders to accelerate Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM)/prefab adoption.* Create intake forms that prompt stakeholders to critically assess proposed offerings to ensure customers receive the truly optimal solution while balancing Aligned's ROI requirements.* Define & document modules/skids (powertrain, cooling, controls, integration harnessing) with clear scope splits, interfaces, and test criteria.* Map components, systems, and services for each product offering, clearly identifying scope ownership and responsibilities.* Develop high-level milestone schedules for skidded and modular solutions to support planning and to compare planned vs. actual durations.* Work directly with the Platform Delivery team to optimize project delivery schedules, sequencing, and execution efficiency.* Act as liaison between integrators, installation teams, and Project Delivery (PD) site teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain a closed-loop feedback system.**Vendor & Sourcing Strategy*** Lead or support supply-chain development with proactive planning ahead of scale.* Identify the optimal vendor solution mix through business-case justification.* During project intake and planning, establish the make/buy/mix strategy; multi-source critical components and qualify backup suppliers to protect schedule and cost.* Assess vendor capacity and constraints; maintain a capacity “heat map” and trigger mitigation actions when thresholds are reached.* Identify, interview, vet, and onboard new vendors to support scale and diversification.* Develop vendor scorecards/criteria to monitor performance, effectiveness, and compatibility.* Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to identify efficiencies, expand offerings, and form partnerships with other trusted Aligned vendors.* Evaluate opportunities to license elements of Aligned's modular and skidded designs, enabling flexible installation models where some OEMs restrict work to approved vendors.**Commissioning, Quality & Factory-First Testing*** Lead or support efforts to maximize commissioning scope completed before skids and equipment arrive on-site.* Collaborate with commissioning and installation teams to determine which scope can be safely and efficiently completed at the integrator's site.* Push testing upstream and align on L1–L5 commissioning progression culminating in Integrated Systems Testing (IST).* Develop systems to capture and track defects discovered after shipment but prior to installation; feed lessons learned into design and vendor Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA).**Logistics, Packaging & Site Readiness*** Partner with vendors to orchestrate heavy-haul and multimodal logistics (rail/barge/road), and define the logistics strategy for shipping, receiving, storage, and environmental controls ensuring vendor environmental & handling requirements are met.* Partner with vendors to define optimal packaging and shipping requirements for skidded solutions; ensure compliance with manufacturers' environmental standards (e.g., shock, tilt, temperature/humidity) throughout transport and storage.* Partner with suppliers to implement monitoring and documentation that protect Aligned's investment and preserve manufacturer warranties.**Technical Review & Industry Engagement*** Actively participate in planning and pre-construction efforts, providing input on optimal solution offerings.* Conduct technical reviews with a strong understanding of data-center design requirements; communicate constructability concerns and recommend improvements.* Develop and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, trade partners, design partners, and service providers.**Governance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement*** Create a scalable playbook and standards that work across regions.* Establish a system to collect deployment data and feedback, capture best practices, and identify improvement opportunities.* Assist in the setup and management of project budgets; aiding in aligning budgets with scope and schedule baselines, track variances, and help drive corrective actions as needed.* Drive quarterly lessons learned, publish findings, and ensure visibility for all relevant stakeholders.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:*** **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).* **Experience**: 12+ years in mission-critical/industrial delivery (data centers strongly preferred), including 5+ years leading design and/or project management and multi-site/program portfolios.* **Technical depth**: Strong knowledge of MEP systems (MV/LV powertrain, UPS/energy storage, switchgear/transformers, busway, cooling/CRAH/CRAC/liquid-cooling, BMS/EPMS) and constructability; ability to interpret drawings/specifications.* **Commissioning**: Proficiency across L1–L5 with IST; defect tracking, and CAPA close-out.* **Financial acumen**: Budget setup and management, variance analysis, and TCO/ROI business-case development.* **Tools**: Advanced Excel; Smartsheet, Bluebeam, AutoCAD; project controls (P6 or MS Project); Procore/BIM 360; analytics (Power BI/Tableau); ERP/PLM familiarity.* **Soft skills**: Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, written/verbal communication, and cross-functional collaboration; strong time-management and organizational skills; discretion and confidentiality at all times.* **Contracting**: Expertise with various project delivery models (IPD, Design-Build, Design-Assist, EPC, CM at Risk).* **Travel**: Up to 50% to manufacturers, integrators, sites, and construction sites.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:*** Mechanical or Electrical background.* Deep relationships across regional data-center GC/trade/design communities.* Expertise with project delivery models (IPD, Design-Build, CM at Risk).* Experience with regional zoning, permitting strategies, and AHJ coordination.* Track record of building programs from the ground up and driving organizational change.* **Supply chain & vendors**: Make/buy/mix strategy, multi-sourcing, vendor scorecards, capacity management, and commercial negotiation.* **Logistics**: Heavy-haul/multimodal planning, OS/OW permitting, and packaging/preservation standards (shock/tilt/temp); familiarity with Incoterms and customs processes.* **Productization/OSM**: Demonstrated success with OSM/prefab, DFMA, and modular skids/assemblies that drive measurable schedule and quality gains.* **Certifications**: PMP, PE, CxA, Six Sigma; advanced degree (MS/MBA) a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
