Overview


No immediate vacancy, but we are always on the lookout for experienced Survey Pilots to join our aerial flight operations team. The position reports to the Chief Pilot and is responsible for flying survey missions. Qualified candidates will have at least 1,000 total logged hours and 500 multi?engine hours, and priority will be given to those with previous survey experience.


Responsibilities



  • Fly scheduled survey missions in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.

  • Operate and maintain aircraft equipment and instrumentation.

  • Collaborate with ground teams and clients to ensure accurate data collection.

  • Track flight metrics and report mission status.

  • Adhere to FAA regulations and company policies.


Qualifications



  • Minimum 1,000 total logged hours with 500 multi?engine hours.

  • FAA Commercial Multi?Engine Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

  • Willingness to travel multiple weeks at a time and manage travel expenses.

  • Must possess U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.


Preferred Skills and Abilities



  • Survey experience, aerial photography, or LiDAR mapping experience.

  • Aviation Maintenance or Flight Instructor certifications.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree (e.g., GIS, Engineering).

  • Current U.S. passport.

  • Medical screening compliance for international travel.

  • Team?oriented attitude and strong communication skills.

  • Experience in a professional environment requiring writing, computer skills, and client interaction.

  • Commitment to flight safety and continuous learning of aerial surveying tactics.

  • Willingness to undergo pre?employment drug screening and verification.
