This experienced instructional leader will bring expertise in college entrance assessments (ACT/SAT), teacher licensure preparation (Praxis), and Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) across state needs. The manager will engage in teacher support initiatives while spearheading program implementation that prioritizes continuous improvement and adherence to compliance and standards. Key Responsibilities
Instructional Design & Facilitation
- Design high-quality, cross-curricular instructional resources and professional development materials aligned to adult learning principles
- Provide instructional design, project management, and quality assurance support across content teams
- Create model sessions and tools that reflect best practices in adult learning and pedagogy
- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure alignment and coherence across academic areas
- Design and lead impactful professional development for 200+ instructional coaches and staff across multiple states
- Facilitate sessions that include, but are not limited to, instructional content, pedagogy, MTSS, ACT, Praxis, and coaching strategies
- Customize professional learning experiences to meet the diverse needs of districts and states
College Entrance Assessments and Teacher Licensure Program Management
- Manage and oversee the design and training of standardized assessment data, including college entrance exams (SAT, ACT, PSAT) and educator licensure exams (Praxis)
- Facilitate growth using that data to ensure coaches comply with national, state, and local policies.
- Serve as the organization's expert on assessment strategies, college readiness, and teacher licensure curricula and training materials.
- Train coaches on ACT/SAT prep and interpret student performance data
- Stay current on teacher licensure exams, timelines, policy updates, and instructional best practices
MTSS Program Management
- Lead the development and implementation of MTSS frameworks
- Design and deliver MTSS training for coaches and educators
- Collaborate with special education and intervention teams for integrated support systems
- Monitor implementation fidelity and provide coaching
Academic Program Management and Support
- Manage content organization through platforms like SharePoint and internal systems
- Coordinate internal communication and resource distribution for academic initiatives
- Support onboarding of new academic staff
- Maintain quality review processes and documentation
- Facilitate project coordination across academic teams
Organizational Leadership & Representation
- Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Uphold and promote organizational values and quality standards
- Incorporate current research and innovative practices into programs
- Respond to evolving needs with customized, evidence‑based solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, or related field
- 7-10+ years of experience in instruction, coaching, content development, or program management
- Demonstrated thorough knowledge of standards‑aligned instruction and adult professional learning
- Expertise in MTSS frameworks, intervention strategies, and data‑driven instruction
- Experience with ACT/SAT standards, assessments, and instructional strategies
- Ability to coach and lead educators across diverse content areas and educational systems
- Strong professional communication, instructional design, facilitation, and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and content design platforms
- Strong organizational, project management, operations support, and multitasking abilities
