Staff Software Engineer, Early Stage Supply Chain Project — Mountain View, CA (HQ).

About the role: You'll play a pivotal full-stack software engineering role, designing, building, and deploying cutting-edge AI systems. This role involves problem-solving and experimentation across prototyping to full-scale, robust solutions, serving as a bridge between cutting-edge AI research and real-world enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver production-grade AI enterprise software across the full stack, from ideation and architectural design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance in complex enterprise environments
• Help drive and execute key decisions on software architecture and features
• Develop experiences that inspire confidence and adoption among end users
• Identify opportunities to maximize software business impact using advanced AI capabilities
• Lead end-to-end technical initiatives from ideation and prototyping to full-scale development, delivery, and scaling within customer environments

Qualifications

• BS or equivalent practical experience in computer science, applied math, or related field
• 7+ years of professional experience designing, developing, maintaining, and releasing production-grade enterprise software
• Exceptional breadth and depth in full-stack software engineering, including UI development
• Strong proficiency in Python with experience in modern toolchains and frameworks for full-stack web apps, backend services, and data pipelines
• Experience with collaborative software development workflows (GitHub, Agile/Scrum, unit testing, CI/CD, production operations)
• Experience using LLMs to optimize software development processes
• Experience integrating AI into enterprise software (LLMs, Foundation Models) with understanding of agentic behaviors, tool use, and reasoning
• Experience integrating with complex enterprise legacy systems (ERP like SAP, Oracle)
• Experience deploying on major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and understanding infrastructure primitives (Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to think strategically and tactically and to thrive in changing environments

Nice to Have

• MS/PhD or equivalent experience in CS, engineering, or quantitative fields
• Experience in startups or small teams; leadership or lead engineer experience

Compensation and Location

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000 - $330,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, pay is determined by location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter can share the specific range for your location during the hiring process.
