THE JOB:
Join the elite grounds team at Fallen Oak Golf Course as a Lead Greenskeeper, where precision, pride, and natural beauty meet. In this leadership role, you'll oversee daily course maintenance and guide a team of Greenskeepers to ensure every fairway, green, and bunker reflects the championship standards of this world-class course. From operating heavy equipment to managing turf health and landscape aesthetics, you'll play a vital role in preserving the pristine conditions that make Fallen Oak an unforgettable experience for every golfer who walks its grounds.

Fallen Oak Overview

THE SCHEDULE:

Day Shift |Full Time

6:00am - 2:00pm | Monday - Friday

Every other weekend | 6:00am - 10:00am

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Lead and support Greenskeepers in performing daily maintenance of greens, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and course perimeters
  • Operate and maintain heavy equipment used for mowing, grading, aeration, tree work, and other golf course maintenance tasks
  • Oversee and participate in project work, including soil preparation, sod laying, seeding, and drainage improvements
  • Apply fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides according to turf management best practices
  • Monitor moisture levels using turf management tools to sustain optimal playing conditions
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness, organization, and proper storage, ensuring preventive maintenance standards are met
  • Inspect the course daily and report turf conditions, equipment issues, and project updates to Assistant Superintendents
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed for all equipment operations and crew activities
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Exhibits 2+ years of prior relevant work experience
  • Holds a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Possesses a valid driver's license as required
  • Demonstrates hands-on experience with irrigation systems, turf management, and pest control
  • Brings flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
