The responsibility of the Casino Cleaner is to maintain the overall cleanliness of the Casino floor according to Company guidelines and standards. Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining cleaning of assigned areas, including cleaning hard surfaces, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up trash, polishing metal, wiping down doors, cleaning mirrors and glass, cleaning slot machines, emptying ashtrays, and cleaning baseboards. The Casino Cleaner must respond to all calls for cleaning requests, spills, and biohazards, check assigned areas for safety and repair issues, and always maintain a safe and pristine work environment. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the needs of the casino is required.
Qualifications include a professional appearance and demeanor, efficient communication skills, a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and one to two years' experience in a high-volume hotel, hospital, or institution as a housekeeper or janitor.
