Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate equipment repairs, ensuring the right labor, parts, and tools are in place
• Identify opportunities to improve repair methods, equipment reliability, and maintenance processes
• Collaborate with employees, contractors, and engineers to develop effective job plans and procedures
• Participate in investigations to prevent equipment failures and improve performance
• Monitor maintenance costs and support budget objectives
• Ensure safe work practices and complete required safety documentation
• Maintain quality standards and support production goals
• Provide ideas and innovations for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance planning methodologies
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, valves, cylinders, and mechanical drive systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Experience in wood products manufacturing is a plus

• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and outdoor conditions
• Comfortable in loud, high-activity environments with moving machinery, vibrations, and airborne particles
