NTS is actively seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to support a top-tier Aerospace & Defense client, ensuring efficient inventory control and mission-critical supply chain operations.

Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Location: Columbus, MS

Base salary: $60k-80k plus benefits

Core Responsibilities:

• Staff Management

  Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse personnel, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a positive team environment.

  
  

• Inventory Control

  Oversee the receipt of stock, manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and implement systems to ensure proper storage and rotation (e.g., FIFO).

  
  

• Operational Oversight

  Direct and coordinate daily activities such as receiving, putting away, pre-kitting, picking, and shipping of aerospace parts.

  
  

• Safety and Compliance

  Enforce strict safety protocols, ensure the warehouse environment meets health, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., AS9100), and manage compliance with hazardous materials or special environmental controls.

  
  

• Process Improvement

  Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, minimize errors, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

  
  

Task:

• Receiving

  Inspect incoming deliveries, check for damage, and verify against purchase orders and invoices.

  
  

• Storing

  Supervise the placement of received items into designated storage areas, ensuring proper segregation and organization.

  
  

• Shipping

  Oversee the picking and packing of orders and prepare them for shipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to U.S. Government requirements and program instructions.

  
  

• Documentation

  Maintain product documentation according to Stark policy and procedures for incoming and outgoing product.

  
  

• Performance Monitoring

  Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to receiving rates, order fulfillment, and inventory accuracy.

  
  

Qualifications:

Hazmat Certified

An associate degree or 5 years of proven supervisory experience in the aerospace industry are preferred.

Strong record of streamlining logistics, continuous improvement, and execution to meet business objectives.
