The HOST/HOSTESS for Dockside Deli is responsible for providing fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to restaurant guests. Greeting and making each guest sitting at the bar feel welcome. Taking initial food and drink order in a timely and accurate manner. Delivering food and drink in a timely manner. Efficiently and accurately tendering all transactions in accordance with island View Casino's standard operating procedures. Maintaining an accurate knowledge of the menu and all specials and seasonal items. Maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with fellow employees.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous customer service experience in high volume establishment preferred. Must have excellent communication and guest service skills. Ability to maintain proper seating and reservations documentation.
