We are hiring an MSP Field Engineer for a remote role with required local travel to the Philadelphia area to support client environments onsite as needed. This is a full-time position with a growing Managed Service Provider delivering IT solutions to small and mid-sized businesses across multiple industries. The role focuses on supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, networking, and end-user systems, acting as a trusted technical resource for local clients.
Required Skills & Experience
• 3+ years of experience in an MSP or IT support/field engineering role
• Strong experience with Windows desktop and server environments
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
• Experience with basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills
• Ability to travel locally to client sites in the Philadelphia area
Desired Skills & Experience
• Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID and hybrid environments
• Familiarity with firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint security tools
• PowerShell or scripting experience
• MSP certifications or vendor certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco)
