Our client, a prestigious global AmLaw 50 law firm, is seeking a skilled Senior Associate Attorney or Counsel to join their dynamic Global Finance group. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys who have a passion for fund finance and subscription line lending and want to work with a leading team in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
- Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction.
- 4+ years of substantive experience in fund finance and subscription line lending
- Experience advising banks, business development companies, and funds on asset-backed lending to funds or other investment vehicles in the private debt space
- Proven ability to run key aspects of transactions independently, from due diligence to closing
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client service skills
- Represent major financial institutions, alternative lenders, and asset managers in a range of fund finance transactions, including subscription credit facilities and NAV-based lending
- Collaborate closely with fund formation counsel to advise on leverage considerations during fund launches
- Take the lead on complex transactions, managing timelines, documents, and client expectations
- Draft and negotiate credit agreements, collateral documentation, and related materials
- Support clients through all phases of a transaction, ensuring smooth execution and legal compliance
- Competitive Salary: $310,000+, commensurate with experience and class year
